Alan Green BEM (1932–2003) was a British railwayman and politician from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. He worked for British Rail and was a prominent member of the National Union of Railwaymen. Elected as a councillor for the Labour Party at 24, he served in various roles including Mayor of Cleethorpes. Notably, he was instrumental in establishing the Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. Recognized for his contributions, he received the British Empire Medal in 1981 and was made an Honorary Alderman in 2003.
