Charles Alan Pastrana was an American football quarterback born on November 20, 1944. He played college football at the University of Maryland from 1965 to 1968, where he set the Atlantic Coast Conference record with 17 passing touchdowns in 1966 and was also a first-team All-American defenseman in lacrosse. Pastrana was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 1969 and played there for two seasons, starting three games as quarterback. After retiring, he transitioned into coaching football, lacrosse, and wrestling, also serving as an associate professor.
