Alan Priddy is a British power boat sailor and adventurer, born on April 7, 1953. He has set numerous world records in boating, including an attempt to circumnavigate the world in a rigid-hulled inflatable boat in 2002, which was followed by a successful yacht circumnavigation in 2008. Priddy has also navigated around Scotland, Ireland, Britain, and across the Bay of Biscay. He holds a world record for crossing the Atlantic in a RIB in just 103 hours and recorded 37 world and 12 British national records as of 2012.
