Albert Knyazi Poghosyan was an Armenian scientist known for his contributions to the fields of machine engineering and materials science. He was born on August 17, 1940, in Armavir and passed away on February 22, 2004. Poghosyan earned his Doctorate in Technical Sciences in 1982 and became a professor in 1983. In 2000, he was elected as a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
