Alberto Rizzoli was an Italian entrepreneur and publisher born on February 18, 1945, in Como. He was the second son of Andrea Rizzoli and Lucia Solmi. Rizzoli served as the CEO of the Rizzoli publishing house, which was founded by his grandfather Angelo. In the 1970s, it became the first major publishing group in Italy. Rizzoli passed away on February 22, 2019, in Pavia.
