Initially, he adopted the Art Deco style, becoming one of its main exponents, before transitioning to modern designs. Notable works include the National Library and the Faculty of Law at the National University in Bogotá. He also designed buildings in various cities including Puerto Berrío, Cúcuta, Cartagena, Palmira, Madrid, Girardot, and Funza. Ferro passed away in Bogotá in 1968 at the age of 62.
