Aldea Militaru was a Romanian politician and diplomat, born on April 28, 1923, in Măgurele. He was a member of the Romanian Communist Party (PCR). Militaru served as the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry, and Water from 1972 to 1975. He later held the position of ambassador to the People's Socialist Republic of Albania from 1978 to 1984. His political career was marked by significant roles in the communist government during a turbulent period in Romania's history. He passed away in 1996.
