Aldo Remondino was an Italian general and aviator born in Cuneo on January 15, 1908. He participated in the Spanish Civil War and World War II, receiving multiple military honors for valor. Following the armistice on September 8, 1943, he formally joined the Italian Social Republic's air force while secretly engaging in espionage for the southern government. After the war, he attained the rank of air force general and served as the Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force from September 1, 1961, to February 28, 1968.
