After the war, he graduated in law and rejoined the army. Boni was also known for his poetry, particularly for songs related to the Bersaglieri, and he contributed to mechanical studies, notably creating a silencer system for Ferrari vehicles. His notable works include 'Primavera cremisi' and 'Vetta bianca'.
