Aldo van Eyck (March 16, 1918 – January 13, 1999) was a Dutch architect known for his influential work in modern architecture. He was a member of the Congrès International d'Architecture Moderne (CIAM) and co-founded Team 10 in 1954. Van Eyck advocated for a shift away from functionalist architecture towards a more humanistic approach in design. His contributions to architecture earned him the RIBA Royal Gold Medal in 1990, highlighting his significant impact on the field.
