Aleko Kyurkchiev is a Bulgarian politician and physician, born on February 15, 1960, in Sofia. He has a medical degree specializing in vascular surgery and works as a cardiovascular and endovascular surgeon at the Institute Hospital Svetа Ekaterina. Kyurkchiev has also studied in the USA. He was the first deputy chairman of the Bulgarian Euro-Right party from 2000 to 2002 and was elected as a representative in the 39th National Assembly in 2001, serving in various parliamentary committees.
