Aleksander Zbigniew Szumański is a Polish poet, literary critic, and independent journalist born on November 12, 1931, in Lviv. He has served as the editor-in-chief of the Kresowy Information Service and has been a correspondent for Polish American press. Szumański is a member of the Polish Writers' Union and the Piłsudski Association, a combatant, and a member of the Association of Jewish Combatants and Victims of World War II.
