Aleksandr Baghramyan was an Armenian geophysicist born on December 24, 1938, in Leninakan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He attained the degree of Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences in 1988 and became a professor in 1991. He made significant contributions to the field of geophysics throughout his career. Sadly, he passed away on March 6, 2022, in Gyumri due to complications from COVID-19.
