Aleksandr Georgievich Gornon, born on February 23, 1946, in Leningrad, is a Russian poet, graphic artist, and editor. He studied geophysics at the Mining Institute (1965-1969) and worked in the Western Geophysical Trust. Gornon developed a unique poetic style known as 'polyphonosemantics' which emphasizes multiple meanings through the use of homonyms. He has received several literary awards, including the Andrei Bely Prize. Gornon has edited and contributed to various literary publications and has created animated films based on his poetry since 2007.
