Aleksandr Evgenyevich Tkachenko, born on March 1, 1972, in Leningrad, is a clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church, serving as a priest in the Saint Petersburg diocese. He is the rector of the Church of Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God, where the Holy Spirit Cathedral is currently under construction. Tkachenko is a recipient of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2016) and has been a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation since 2017. He founded and has been the director of the first children's hospice in Russia since 2021.
