Aleš Kermauner was a Slovenian poet born on December 29, 1946, in Belgrade. He studied philosophy at the University of Ljubljana and was known for his socially critical and reflective poetry. Kermauner was a member of the OHO group and published posthumously in a collection titled 'Aleš Kermauner' in 1966. Tragically, he took his own life at the young age of 19. He was the son of Dušan and the brother of Taras Kermauner.
