Aleš Zimolka was a Czech musician and automobile racer born on April 7, 1963, in Jihlava, Czechoslovakia. In the 1990s, he played with the band Markýz John and earlier with Pedál. He later performed with groups such as Empire, Merlin, Asonance, and Humbuk. As a navigator for Petr Pelech, he competed in various Czech racing events. Unfortunately, he suffered severe injuries during the Rallye Český Krumlov on May 26, 2012, and died in a hospital in České Budějovice.
