Alessio De Giorgi is an Italian journalist and entrepreneur, born on March 18, 1969, in Genoa. He is the web director of the newspaper Il Riformista and the founder of Gay.it, having served as its director for many years. De Giorgi was the first ambassador of the IGLTA in Italy. He joined Matteo Renzi's staff in May 2016 as the digital communication head during Renzi's tenure as the National Secretary of the Democratic Party and later as the leader of Italia Viva. He made headlines for forming Italy's first civil partnership in 2002.
