Alex David Mayer de Arseno, born on May 28, 1983, is a former Brazilian professional cyclist. He had notable achievements in 2006 by winning stages in Volta do Paraná and Volta de Santa Catarina, along with victories in various other Brazilian tours. Although in 2009 he became the Brazilian road race champion, his successes were tarnished by a doping scandal resulting in a two-year suspension. After a brief return to cycling, where he won an Argentinian sprint championship, he retired following another doping violation, informing his fans via Facebook.
