Alex Minsky is a retired Marine corporal who became a model after suffering life-changing injuries during his service in Afghanistan. In 2009, his Humvee was struck by a roadside bomb, resulting in the amputation of his right leg and a traumatic brain injury that left him in a coma for 47 days. Following the death of his brother from a drug overdose and a struggle with alcohol abuse, he found purpose in physical fitness. His modeling career gained traction after being photographed by renowned photographers, including Michael Stokes.
