Alexandr Janovský is a Czech photographer born on September 9, 1945, in Prague. He completed his studies at the Secondary School of Civil Engineering (1961-1965) and later attended the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) from 1967 to 1968. His education at FAMU was interrupted due to political reasons following the events of 1968.
