Alexander Bagrat Manucharyan was a Soviet Armenian animal breeder and selector, born on September 25, 1908, in Ganja, Caucasus Viceroyalty of the Russian Empire. He earned his Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences in 1958 and became a professor in 1963. Manucharyan was known for his contributions to the field of animal husbandry and selection. He passed away on November 10, 1979, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR.
