Alexander Markovics is an Austrian historian, publicist, and activist associated with the New Right movement. Born on May 9, 1991, in Vienna, he co-founded the far-right Identitarian Movement in Austria and served as its chairman from 2013 to 2015. In early 2019, he became the Secretary General and spokesman for the Suworow Institute, which promotes Austrian-Russian dialogue. Markovics regularly contributes as a columnist for the NPD magazine Deutsche Stimme, where his geopolitical analyses are published.
