Alf Edvard Nystad (born May 2, 1948) is a prominent representative for Norske Samers Riksforbund in the Sámi Parliament of Norway, serving from 1989 to 1997. He has had a long career in fostering Sámi rights and education, alongside his profession as a driving instructor. Nystad has also held various leadership roles in Sámi organizations and was a board member of Norske Samers Riksforbund from 1979 to 1981. He resided in Porsanger, contributing significantly to the education of drivers in Finnmark.
