Alfred Basbous (December 28, 1924 - January 1, 2006) was a Lebanese painter, sculptor, and visual artist born in the village of Batrun in Rashana. He was the younger brother of artist Michel Basbous. Basbous held his first solo exhibition in 1958 in Beirut and received a scholarship to study under sculptor René Collamarini in Paris. He established an outdoor sculpture park in Rashana, which became a UNESCO World Heritage site. Basbous hosted international sculpture seminars in Rashana from 1994 to 2004, inviting sculptors from around the world to participate.
