Alfréd Mrůzek was a Czech soldier and a World War II veteran, born on December 18, 1911, in Pitrov. He served in the Czechoslovak foreign army, attaining the rank of rotmistr. After leaving the Protectorate in 1939, he endured internment in a gulag after crossing borders. He later joined a Czechoslovak unit and participated in key battles, including the Sokolov battle and the Prague Uprising. Post-war, he served as a lieutenant and remained active in veterans' events. He co-authored a memoir titled 'Síla lásky', published in 1984.
