Alfred Steinmetzer (February 2, 1918 – May 31, 2007) was a Luxembourgish artist and surveyor, recognized as a significant figure in the protection of monuments in Luxembourg. He dedicated himself to the preservation and valorization of Luxembourg's heritage, particularly its castles and fortresses. Additionally, he was an accomplished painter, having studied under Professors Wirion and Reckinger as well as at the Academy in Munich. He was married and father to Christiane and Marianne Steinmetzer.
