Alfredo José Rodríguez Figueroa was a Venezuelan Roman Catholic archbishop born on January 6, 1933, and passed away on September 17, 2001. He was ordained as a priest on December 22, 1957, and became the bishop of Caracas and titular bishop of Lari Castellum on July 24, 1974, with his episcopal consecration following shortly after. On March 12, 1987, he was appointed bishop of the Cumaná diocese, which was elevated to an archdiocese in 1992, after which he served as archbishop until his death.
