Sir Algernon Heber-Percy, born on January 2, 1944, is a British landowner and public official. After serving in the Army for four years, he took over the family's estate, Hodnet Hall, and manages its farming operations. He has been actively involved in various organizations, including being a trustee of the National Gardens Scheme and president of Severn Hospice. He was appointed a deputy lieutenant for Shropshire and served as high sheriff and later as lord lieutenant from 1996 until 2019. In 2014, he was honored as a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.
