Ali McMordie, born on March 31, 1959, in Belfast, is a prominent bass guitarist known for co-founding the punk band Stiff Little Fingers and performing with them from 1977 to 1983, later rejoining for reunion tours. Post SLF, he was part of Friction Groove and worked with Sinéad O'Connor. He served as executive producer for Peace Together Irish events and has managed tours for Moby. McMordie has returned to SLF as a permanent member since 2006 and continues to perform live.
