Ali Rıza Alaboyun is a Turkish politician born on March 8, 1957. He served as the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources in Turkey's interim government under Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu from August 28 to November 17, 2015. Alaboyun was a member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) from its inception until 2015, when he resigned to join the interim government as an Independent. He represented Aksaray as a Member of Parliament from 2002 to 2015, leaving office due to the AKP's three-term limit.
