Ali Sabry is a Sri Lankan lawyer and politician, born on May 1, 1970. He currently serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs since July 22, 2022. Previously, he was the Minister of Finance, although his tenure was brief due to the financial crisis, leading him to resign and then revoke his resignation the same day. He was also the Minister of Justice and served as the chief legal adviser to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Sabry is a prominent member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna party.
