Alina Kalczyńska-Scheiwiller is a Polish graphic artist born on October 19, 1936, in Mszana Dolna. She has diverse interests in artistic graphic techniques including color woodcuts, linocuts, serigraphy, as well as publishing design for books, exlibris, and posters. Additionally, she works in sculpture-stained glass, watercolor, and artistic textiles. Since 1980, she has lived in Italy, where she is known for promoting contemporary Polish art and literature, organizing graphic exhibitions and book promotions. She is a member of the International Bibliophile Society in Paris and the XYLON printmakers' association in Zurich.
