She is known for her conceptual installations utilizing various media including video, sound, robotics, and objects, alongside her unique painting and drawing style called Marks. Her work often explores themes of identity, borders, and injustice. Currently, she resides in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where she served as president of Visarte Neuchâtel from 2011 to 2017 and is now the co-president since 2017.
