He currently serves as the Director General and CEO of Nigeria's National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). Aziz graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, with a B.Eng in Civil Engineering and an M.Sc. in Structural Engineering. He began his career as a Graduate Assistant and later became a Principal Partner at Integrated Engineering Associates, where he oversaw significant building and bridge projects in Kaduna and Abuja.
