Bishop A. Rajarathnam was the sixth bishop of the Dornakal Diocese in the Church of South India. He studied at Andhra Union Theological College and became a teacher before pursuing his theological studies. He served as a Pastor after his ordination in 1966, and was appointed bishop in 1997, following the retirement of D. N. Samuel. He attended the thirteenth Lambeth Conference in 1998 and stepped down from his position in 2006. His contributions to the church and education are notable, having significantly influenced his community throughout his service.
