Ally McCoist is a Scottish former professional footballer and current football manager, born on September 24, 1962, in Bellshill, Scotland. He began his career at St Johnstone in 1979 before moving to Sunderland, and then he went on to achieve legendary status at Rangers, where he scored 251 goals in 418 appearances between 1983 and 1998. He also represented the Scotland national team from 1985 to 1998, earning 61 caps and scoring 19 goals. Nowadays, he serves as an assistant manager at Rangers.
