Almanbet Matubraimov was a prominent Kyrgyz politician who served as the chairman of the Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan. He briefly held the position of Acting Prime Minister in December 1993, succeeding Tursunbek Chyngyshev and later followed by Apas Jumagulov. In January 2006, he was appointed as Kyrgyzstan's representative to the Eurasian Economic Community. His political career included significant roles in the early 1990s during a pivotal time for Kyrgyzstan's governance.
