Almast Grigori Zakaryan was an Armenian literary scholar, critic, and historian, born on January 22, 1923, in Parak. He made significant contributions to the field of humanities and was a member of the USSR Union of Writers since 1973. Zakaryan earned a doctorate in philological sciences and was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1953. He passed away on July 28, 2013, in Yerevan, Armenia.
