Born Aldimir Torres Ribeiro in São João da Boa Vista on December 9, 1935, he achieved significant recognition within less than two years of his career, winning two Roquete Pinto awards. He was a featured artist on the 'Spot Light' program on TV Tupi, later re-launched with Wilson Simonal, and also acted in two films. His promising career was cut short when he passed away on February 18, 1958, in Punta del Leste, Uruguay.
