Alois Georg Schnorbus is a retired German bobsled pilot born on January 12, 1952, in Winterberg. He competed in both four-man and two-man bobsleigh, representing BSC Winterberg, and is one of the club's most successful athletes. His notable achievements include qualifying for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, where he placed tenth in the four-man event. He won the German four-man bobsleigh championship in 1982 and earned three junior European championship titles. After his athletic career, he became a coach and served as chairman of BSC Winterberg and later as vice president of the regional federation.
