Altevir Silva Filho de Araújo, born on December 23, 1955, is a former Brazilian sprinter and long jumper. He achieved notable success in athletics, winning a bronze medal in the 4x100 meter relay at the 1979 Pan American Games, where he also finished fourth in the 200 meters and long jump. He represented Brazil in the Athletics World Cup in Montreal, winning gold in the relay. At the 1980 Moscow Olympics, he placed eighth in the relay and reached the quarter-finals in the 200 meters. He also secured a silver medal at the 1981 South American Championships.
