María Amaya Martínez Grisaleña, born on November 6, 1968, is a Spanish journalist and politician with the Vox party since 2020. She studied journalism at the Universidad del País Vasco and previously ran a company that sold non-lethal weaponry. A native Basque speaker, Martínez Grisaleña has criticized linguistic discrimination against Spanish in the Basque Country. She was elected to the Basque Parliament in the 2020 regional elections and currently serves as the sole Vox representative in that assembly.
