Amanda Jo Adkins, born on December 5, 1976, is a former American competition swimmer. She was recognized as an Ohio State Champion in the 100-meter backstroke and competed in the 200-meter backstroke at the 2000 Atlanta Olympics. Adkins swam for the University of Georgia's SEC Championship swim team from 1995 to 1999. After her competitive career, she later became known by her married name, Amanda Schneider.
