Amin Yunis al-Husseini was a prominent Jordanian politician born on December 17, 1929, in Jerusalem. He studied economics and management at the American University of Beirut and later in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. al-Husseini served as a political advisor in Sudan from 1951 to 1953 and became a member of the Jordanian National Assembly for Jerusalem in 1963. He held various government positions, including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Social Affairs from 1963 to 1965, and Minister of Transport from 1967 to 1970. He was awarded the Order of the Star of Jordan.
