Aminu Shuaibu Safana was a Nigerian politician born in April 1961. He served as the representative for the Batsari/Safana/Danmusa constituency of Katsina State in the House of Representatives. An educated doctor, he graduated from Ahmadu Bello University and the Universities of Leeds and London. A member of the People's Democratic Party, he was the chairman of the Committee on Health and was closely connected with President Umaru Yar'Adua. Safana passed away suddenly due to a heart attack on October 17, 2007.
