He is renowned for designing significant structures such as the City Theater and the new Parliament building of Iran, which was designed in 1976 and constructed after the Islamic Revolution between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, he created the tomb of Sadegh Hedayat, the Iranian writer, located in the Pére Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.
