Mayjen TNI (Purn.) Amril Amir, S.IP, born on January 7, 1954, is a retired Indonesian military leader. He served as the Commander of Kodam VII/Wirabuana from July 2010 to September 2011. Prior to that, he was the Head of Staff of the same military region for 8 months. Amril has also held the position of Danrem (Military Resort Commander) 041/Garuda Hitam in Bengkulu and was later assigned as a Special Staff to the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army.
