She was a member of the National Liberation Alliance (ALN), an extremist organization that fought against the Brazilian military dictatorship. Tragically, she disappeared along with her husband Wilson Silva in 1974 at the age of 32 years, highlighting the perilous conditions of political dissent during that period.
