Anahí Giovanna Puente de Velasco, known simply as Anahí, is a Mexican singer and actress born on May 13, 1983, in Mexico City. She is recognized for her roles in several Mexican telenovelas and was a member of the Latin band RBD, which gained fame from 2004 to 2009. Anahí and RBD won 2 Grammy Awards and sold over 20 million copies of their album 'Mi Delirio.' As a solo artist, she has also achieved significant sales, with her latest album 'Inesperado' released in 2016. In 2015, she married Manuel Velasco Coello, the Governor of Chiapas.
